Its been a while

hello interwebs,

Here is what is going on:

1. I have no money

2. Everything costs money

3. particularly my car which just cost me $500 and still needs another $400 of work

4. The above things make me sad

But things are ok because:

1. Cornbread lets me pet him on the couch now, I know this is sad to be excited about but its almost like he is a cuddly pet

2. I am excited about the new house, we move this weekend and no more poop in the kitchen!

3. The weather is so pretty outside

I am stressed stressed streesed about school, but I don't know why.

Me and JerBear watched land before time tonight, parts were scary but it is still a good movie

I got three new gossip girl books at JR

Don't judge me

Sunny day - Sweepin’ the clouds away

Oh the sun came out! its out and the rain and the clouds are gone!!!!!!!

yesterday me and Jeremy saw a band called hope for agoldensummer. It was so good, and made me happy. I don't like loud music I like happy music, even if the lyrics are sad.

I have to work on my bibliography today which is a little sad, but it will be ok.

Me and Jeremy are going to Disney World for his graduation. We go on May 23 and are staying for 7 nights, madness =)

Jeremy loves music again, there are many different musical instruments in our home, I wish he would learn the saw.

I've been having a quarter life crisis lately. 25 seems old and like I should be "an adult" but I thing I will just continue being me because that works out pretty well.

lots of tidbits and such

today I started volunteering at the Friends Historical Collection, the archivist is so nice and she even remembered me from when I worked with her way back in 2004. She gave me some really good ideas about how to get to the places I wanted to be.

Cornbread is being such a sweet bunbun today, I don't expect it to last.

Me and Jeremy played Wii sports and now both our right arms are killing us.

I watched the entire series of Freaks and Geeks and Dead like me. I really need to stop picking dead shows to enjoy. I love How I met your mother and that's still on. I love Doogie Howser, doo doo doo doo doodoo dah da da da da da da doo da doo.

I'm 25 old old old.

I have a lot of homework but I'm pretty excited about my classes this semester.

Soon Twilight will be out on DVD and I will own it and it shall be mine, maybe I do wear my twilight hoodie every day so what!

I like to dance and kick, cornbread showed me how.

I love how nice people are when you tell them your career aspirations and they work to help you achieve them.

For my birthday I got 4 kinds of flavored popcorn, a pound of chocolate covered cherries, lots of chocolate, a gift certificate for a restaurant.....I think I need a new interest besides food. I've actually been a good girl and have been going back to the gym.

My sister sent me an amazing book called I'd tell you I love you but than I'd have to kill you. It's teen fiction about a spy school, obviously a winner.

good times and easy living

So things are good can't complain. School is pretty good. I'm actually relatively caught up with stuff and apparently amazing everyone with the fact that I have time to knit, shhh don't tell them I read too. My GA stuff is easy and thats nice. Also in my collections class I keep learning about all these awesome websites and thats pretty fun. So yeah school good.

Yesterday me and Jeremy went to the Guilford Courthouse National Park Museum, which he didn't believe exsisted. Those handsome gentlemen to the left are a part of the display. It was a tiny museum but really well put together and the gift shop rocked! There were s

I love my iphone I get to take pictures always and check my email and the internet, it fuels the addiction!!! Mary Ann just got one and she's pretty much obsessed as well, Dottie is mostly obsessed with the Halloween application, that girl loves halloween =).

Cornbread needs to eat more hay and less pellots and maybe not be a pudgy bunny but he does not agree. look at that evil eyebrow ridge going on.

There are two problems with our domestic bliss. One is ants, millions of ants trying to eat and kill me in the kitchen. It's war and they keep to be winning, despite all the bug killer we lay on them. The other problem is a ghost. It lives in the hallway. Cornbread discovered it. He's like fine and then gets freaked out and thumps his foot at us to warn us of danger. Also there is dried blood that has dripped down the wall. So yes we may be looking to move if finances allow. Or maybe we could train the ants to wage their war upon the ghost and rid us of his presence. Or maybe the ghost could rid us of the ants, I hear that animals arn't crazy for ghosts, cornbread certainly isn't. If we move we are going to get some finches and a beta fish so that Jeremy can say he has a bird, a betta and bunny. Alleteration is fun.

flowers for algernon

Me, Jeremy and cornbread just read each other the short story, Flowers for Algernon. I've read the book but not the short story before. Its so sad. By the end we all cried. except cornbread. Cornbread just ate kale and hopped (but really I think he was a little sad and just was too embarrassed to say anything).

We went to JR today and got towels and I got two knitting books. ohhh I absolutely love knitting. and room service.

someone please remember to put flowers on Algernons grave.....ohh just typing that made me cry.

On time in California I told my friend Ashley that watching the color purple always made me cry at the end. She had grown up in LA and her dad was in "the business" i.e. he worked in Hollywood and she said oh I never cry at movies. So I made her watch the color purple with me in one the student lounges on a big screen tv. We watched it and at the end when the sisters are reunited I looked over and sure enough there were tears in her eyes. I cried too. but than again I cry at the lion king, and buffy the vampire slayer, and the Sarah McLachlan commercial for shelter dogs.

here's the thing of it

1) I got an iPhone, its awesome.

2) a month before I got the iPhone I purchased an iPod touch which was awesome but not as awesome as I wanted it to be.

3) 2 days after I got the iPhone and was looking the sell my iPod, Apple came out with a new and improved iPod touch that is $100 less.

4) I sold my iPod touch (at a huge loss). It made me a bit grumpy especially because if I had found the reciept I could have returned it to wallmart. Who knew that you can return open electronics to wallmart now? I certainly didn't. I was mad, I was sick about it, but its something I just have to come to terms with.

Cornbread got neutered yesterday. I think me and Jeremy are more traumatized by the event than him. We both spent the whole day worrying if he was ok and gonna live, what if his tiny bunny breath stopped! But it didn't, he's ok and sleeping. He already wants to play but the vet said he has to stay mostly in his cage for a week! Poor cornbread, thats gonna be worse for him than any ball cutting off.

here is a picture of cornbread marking him carrier with his chin, as you can see he is clearly traumatized.

So I'm working on either crocheting or knitting the most awesome Buffy the Vampire Slayer blanket, it should be the most awesome thing ever. It will probably be done around 2015. I finished my blue blanket, its huge, it fits our queen size bed. Unfortunately I must not have been paying attention and on one side its like two feet longer than on the other side. Jeremy is much taller than me so the blanket it for him and me to share....
